Wallpaper* Future 30 Architects Directory 2009
Wallpaper* magazine presents some of the most exciting emerging global architectural talent in an exhibition of bespoke designs, exploring affordability, sustainability, flexibility, efficiency and innovation.
Introduced in Wallpapers August 2009 Architects Directory, the thirty chosen practices have created a broad selection of innovative residential designs for the near future. Held in the premises of a classic modernist residential example, the beautiful Chabot Museum, the exhibition showcases all thirty of these housing prototypes, illustrating a broad range of planning solutions and aesthetic approaches.
Selected highlights of the annual Wallpaper* Architects Directory were published in the magazine's August issue and are featured in full on www.wallpaper.com. Now in its ninth year, the Architects Directory provides the ultimate little black book to the worlds most promising young practices.
The models were created at the DMC London at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL
